Born in Greece in 1885, Demetrious (James) Andromedas, or "Cousin Jimmy" as he was called by some family members, was one of the greatest athletes in New England during the 1920's and he participated in the 1912 and 1920 Summer Olympics. He excelled in shot put, discus throwing and broad jump.
